Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school this morning.  He brought a mason home with him to do some brick work at the house up the hill where we will be moving.  There were two holes where window units had been that were just covered with a piece of paneling.  They took the paneling down and filled the holes with bricks and cement.  There was a door in the room that will be Bonnie's room that went out on the porch.  We didn't want a door to outside in her bedroom.  They removed that door and filled that space in too.  They also sprayed for bugs.  There were a few places where the termites had been busy; they also saw several scorpions.
I did laundry and got some things done around the house.  Joe brought me some boxes, but I have not gotten in the packing mode yet.
The kids had a good day at school.  We got a couple packages today.  As soon as the kids got in the door, they wanted to open the packages.  We got lots of goodies!  They got hats with little clip on lights; they had to try those out right away.
Danny's cough is not sounding much better.  We think his asthma is contributing to his problems.
Just as we were sitting down for supper, the mechanic from Ivory Coast got here.  He was coming this way to work on a vehicle, and he brought some of our stuff for us.  Joe unloaded it all into the garage for now.  He brought our generator; we will need that up the hill with all of the electricity problems we have had lately.  He also brought our mower and some of my dishes; I'll have to look in that box tomorrow to see what all is in there.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
Update on prayer requests from yesterday:

Dr. Vineyard was released from the hospital.

Please continue to pray for Catherine Ross Hudson.  (She and my brother were in the same class in school and graduated from high school in 1990.)  The doctors have determined that she has cancer, and that it is in her liver, but that is not the originating source. They are running more tests and trying to determine what to do. Please continue to pray for the Ross and Hudson families.
