Bonjour,
We did some projects around the house this morning. I got another barrel unloaded. The kids played and were still a little worn out from the long day yesterday; so, we ate lunch early and went down for naps.
The water came on this afternoon, and we were able to get a couple loads of laundry done. It went back off for awhile but just came back on a few minutes ago. Jennifer and I both started another load of laundry.
Justin got to come home this afternoon. The kids were so excited to see him. Justin is feeling better but is still weak and tired. He will be on antibioitcs for a week and is supposed to take it easy.
We had another Thanksgiving meal this evening with Dan and Justin. Justin didn't eat anything, but he was there at least. We heated up the leftovers. I made a couple more pies. I made a chocoate cream pie and a coconut cream pie with fresh coconut. When Danny heard that I was making another chocolate pie, he asked if I could make some more egg rolls too (otherwise known as deviled eggs).
We played a game of Risk with the Posts tonight.
Last night, there was a debate between the two presidential candidates. Everything stayed peaceful. They told people not to interfere with those going to vote on Sunday and to stay peaceful when the winner is announced. That's one step in the right direction. We will see if people heed the advice given. The counting of the votes will be done at the UN headquarters. They said that there will be a curfew on Sunday night of 20:00. Please continue to pray for the elections here in Ivory Coast. The US Embassy sent out a message today warning US citizens to stay away from areas of political campaigning and to be prepared to stay in for several days.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
