Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school this morning.  Then, he had a couple meetings.
The power came back on about 10:30 this morning.  I got some things done around the house.
The kids had a good day at school.  Danny said that he spelled some words and that he got them right on the first try.  Bonnie must not have taken a very long nap today because she was all out of sorts.  Gilbert said that he had a good day.
After school, the boys worked out in the yard with Joe for a while.  Bonnie helped me make supper.  We use powdered milk here, and we keep the milk in a pitcher in the refrigerator.  The pitcher was almost empty.  I told Bonnie to get it out so that I could use it for the mashed potatoes.  She said, "Well, maybe I could drink some; it's not 'nextacarily' for the potatoes; is it?"  I asked her about 'necessarily."  She said, "Can you say that word, Mom? Yes, that's right, 'nextacarily.'"  She is a mess!
After supper, the boys did their homework.  Gilbert was working with the value of money; I think he has forgotten what a penny, nickel, and dime look like. Here, they have a 1 pesewa, 5 pesewas, 10 pesewas, 20 pesewas, 50 pesewas, and 1 cedis in change.  Because they are using the A Beka DVDs, they are learning the American money system.
Danny always wants to know how many rows he has left to write.  He got it all done.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
