Bonjour,
This morning, Joe went to get some plumbing parts to fix up a faucet of sorts for our water filtering system. We had a hose, and it was taking about thirty minutes to fill a five-gallon cooler. The hose had been leaking and had flooded the pantry more than once. With the new "faucet," it takes about thirty seconds to fill it.
I did some reading with the boys. Then, they swept and mopped the porch while I folded laundry.
After lunch, we took naps. I got supper ready. Then, we got ready for church.
Church went well tonight. There were nineteen in attendance. Danny and Gilbert were telling everyone at church that they got saved last night. During praise and testimony time, they both raised their hand to say that they were thankful that they got saved.
During the sermon, Gilbert was really listening. He kept asking me questions. Joe said that sin leaves spots. Gilbert started looking at his arm saying, "There's a sin; there's a sin." I told him that they weren't real spots that you could see. Then, Joe was talking about the prodigal son. Gilbert had some questions about him. Joe mentioned a "lost" man. Gilbert asked why he was lost. I told him that if you are not saved, you are lost. He said, "Oh, Bonnie's lost, but I'm not." Bonnie heard him say that she was lost to which she replied, "I'm not lost. I'm at God's house."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
