W’apow mu e,

Well, today was a full day to say the least! We got off to school on
time and because the kids were so excited about going to the circus,
that was a minor miracle! One the way home from school I dropped the
car off at the mechanic so that he could change the oil and get it
ready for our trip to Accra on Sunday to get Lo! We are so ready for
mom to be home! The mechanic dropped me off at the house.

We have a couple in the church that are going to get married on August
4th. They came to the house this morning so that I could help them
get their invitations printed. Lo is the one who is good at those
kinds of things. We struggled through it and I think they came out
very nice if I do say so myself!
After that, I had a bunch of stuff to do in town. I am keeping
another missionary’s car while he is on furlough. He told me I could
drive it around to keep it running from time to time. I took his car
into town to run my errands.

I picked Martin up and headed to get the kids from school. They were
about to chew the doors down they were so excited about the circus!
We drove to the mechanic’s and Martin, who finally got his drivers
licenses, followed me home in our car. The kids got changed out of
their school uniforms and we headed to town. We ate super and then
went to the circus.

The kids loved it! They were so good. Then I realized something. My
life with these kids is much more exciting than any ol’circus! The
circus was run by a group of international performers. There were
people from the US, Mexico, Italy, China, and I don’t know where all.
There were tigers, snakes, alligators, kangaroos, clowns, flying
trapeze, and the kids were amazed. Danny wanted me to build him a
swing like that (trapeze)! I told him to forget about it!

Our kids could have been paid as part of the show. They were so
excited and people setting around us watched us about as much as they
watched what was going on inside the ring!

We got home at 21:00 which is 30 minutes after bedtime! The kids came
in the house, brushed their teeth and were asleep before you could
say, “Bob’s your uncle!”

The internet would not let me send this last night. So that is why
you are getting this today.

Nantsew yie!
