Bonjour,
Joe made it safely to France. He is in Caen. He made all of his connections without any problems. He picked up two men at the airport this evening. They all went out to eat at Buffalo Grill, a French steakhouse. More of the group will arrive tomorrow morning.
It rained most of the day here. Lenell took her dog, Precious, to the vet this morning. It was raining hard when it was time for her to leave. She got all wet opening the gates, and I got soaked closing the gates. Gilbert came to hold the umbrella for me, but he couldn’t quite get it up over my head. It was the thought that counted. Danny came to see if he could help too. So, we were all three wet.
The boys played well together. Danny was riding the scooter. Gilbert was running behind saying, “Go, Herby, Go!” Then, he would clap and cheer and say, “You winned!” This evening, they were playing golf with their baseball bats.
Bonnie took a long nap this morning and was awake most of the afternoon. The boys took a long nap this afternoon.
We went for a walk with Margie. It was a bit muddy, but we enjoyed getting out of the house. Margie came over to visit for awhile.
Lenell got here after supper. The boys have had her busy reading books.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
