Here is Joe’s portion of the Bonjour for the day. I got it after I had already sent mine.
My flight went very well, and I got to Paris five minuets early. My checked bag did make it, and I was able to get to the train station in a very reasonable amount of time.
The train from Paris to Caen took two hours. A family sat next to me with a little boy Danny’s age. He was so much fun to watch! He was eating dried apricots like candy, and he had a sticky mess everywhere!
I got to the hotel at 11:00, and they were very kind and let me check in early. I put my bags in the room and then headed downtown to see what I could find. I found some AMERICAN food! McDonalds!?! I usually don’t
even like McD’s, but it is American!
I just walked and walked today because I did not have anything else to do! Then about 15:30, I made my way to the airport to get Bro. Madle and Bro. White. I rented the van, and then we headed off to try to practice driving in this city of all one-way streets!
We ate supper at a steake house! It was good! I am enjoying the food if you have not noticed!
We have been having a great time of fellowship! Tomorrow, Dr. Vineyard gets here, and we will have to quit messing around!
