Bonjour,

We had a good day at church. There were 88 in attendance this morning.

I had 22 in my class. All of the children were wound up today. During
Sunday school, we usually play with toys inside. We are in a little
room off the back, and Joe is right outside our door teaching his
lesson. He told the people that it sounded like there was a rebellion
in the nursery today. I think we will have to start doing something a
little more structured during Sunday school so that we aren't quite so loud.

During the second hour, we are outside in the bamboo structure.
Everyone was doing pretty well during the Bible story time until Gilbert
and Danny decided to be lions. They were crawling around growling.
Those boys!

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

Everyone took a nap this afternoon except for Joe. He worked in the office.

There were thirty in attendance this evening. Joe preached tonight.
When he illustrates something during his sermon, Gilbert always asks
what is happening. He understands a little bit of French but not enough
to know what is going on.

After church, we stopped to visit with Lenell for a little while. It
was nice to talk to her. Some girls gave her a kitten; so, now she has
a cat and a dog.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
