Bonjour,

Joe went into Abidjan this morning to run some errands. The traffic was
bad today. He didn't get back until late this afternoon.

It rained off and on today. Gilbert is afraid of the thunder and the
sound that the rain makes on the tin roof; so, he didn't take a nap
today. It rained off and on throughout nap time. Bonnie took a long
nap this morning and didn't take much of a nap this afternoon either.
Danny did get one in.

As soon as Joe got home, Gilbert told him that the pool was filled up
now. He has been asking to go swimming for the past several days. The
water was cold after all of the rain, but they swam for a few minutes.

Joe had bought a fish fryer today so that we would have a burner to use
to deep fry turkeys for Thanksgiving. He had bought a duck to try it
out. After he got everything set up, the fryer didn't work. So, he
will have to take it back to the store next week. We did the duck in
the oven on the rotisserie instead; it was good.

Please pray for Joe and Dan as they travel to a village tomorrow. It is
about a seven-hour drive because of the condition of the roads. A man
from the Bassam church and a man from Dan's church will be going with
them. They will be coming back on Monday.

Jennifer Post and her boys are going to stay with us this weekend. We
thought it would be fun for the boys to be able to play and swim on
Saturday.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
