Bonjour,
This morning, we had Lenell, Tammy, Bob Engelhart, and Romeo over for waffles. Then, we headed into Abidjan in Tammy’s vehicle.
We had to go to the expediter’s office first to make the final payment on the container. Then, we went to look at puppies for Lenell. It ended up not being the type of dog she was looking for, and their price was quite high.
As we were headed back into Abidjan, Tammy’s car overheated. She pulled over quickly. Joe helped her put coolant and water in the radiator. Then, he called the mechanic. He said that we needed to buy a new radiator cap. When the car had cooled down enough, we headed to the Mitsubishi dealership. The first cap that they gave her wasn’t the right one. They were about to close for lunch, but we were able to get the cap before they closed.
We went and had some lunch and then headed back to Anyama. We didn’t overheat on the way home. But, when Tammy headed back to Bingerville, it overheated not too far from our house. Joe and Bob went to help her. They brought her car back to the house. Joe talked to the mechanic. Joe is going to take her vehicle back to the mechanic in the morning. There are a couple other things he is going to try to see if he can get it to stop overheating.
We had a big storm this afternoon. The power has been off since about 16:00. We have the generator going.
Lenell and Tammy came over for supper. Then, they headed back across the street.
