W'apow mu e,

We had a good Sunday.  Good attendance at church in both the morning and the evening.  This morning we had several people make decisions to be more faithful in different areas of their Christian life.  We even had some people take tracts home with them so that they could hand them out during the week.  I am praying that the people here get a real burden to reach their own people with the Gospel!

Until this morning, we have not had any emotional breakdowns due to the fact that mommy ain't here!  Well when the kids got to Sunday school class and realized that mom was not there to keep the program the same, well, our perfect streak came to an abrupt end.  All three kids were doing the Charlie Brown cry!  (Heads tilted back, mouth wide open and tears gushing up like geysers!)  We were able to regain control and remember that it is o.k. if things don't go as normal every once in a while.

While I was making lunch this afternoon I talked to Laura on the speaker phone.  Bonnie was in the kitchen "helping." Her version of helping is asking, "What are we going to have?  Do you know how to read that recipe?"  Then she goes over to the frig and plays with her magnets.  She pretends that the magnets are students and she is the teacher.  At school they are practicing for the program at the end of the year.  Bonnie lined up her magnet students and began to work on the program.  She started singing a song and then abruply stopped and said, "You three on the back row, COMPORT yourselves!"  I almost fell over laughing so hard!

A man at church who is a drill instructor in the Ghanaian Air Force was teasing Bonnie after church.  Bonnie looked at him and said, "If you keep that up you will see what will happen!"  He was shocked!  I was not, I grew up with my sisters and Consford women are liable to say any thing at any moment to anybody!

We have completed one whole week without mom and she will be back in Ghana two weeks from today.  Maybe we can make it!
