Bonjour,

It has been awhile since you heard from us.  We are all doing well.

I got the results back from my lab work.  Everything looked good.  I will go back to the doctor in a couple weeks for a check-up.  I have been feeling well.

We had a good time with Joe's family.  Joe's sister, Lori, came down from Washington for a week; it was their Spring Break.  Joe and I went to Houston to get her.  All three children stayed with Joe's parents.  Joe and I had a fun day in Houston.  Lori's flight came in at 10:30 P.M.  We got back to Joe's parents' house about 2:00 A.M. the next morning.  We had a lot of fun with Lori.  I got to go shopping with her a few times.

We had a good Easter Sunday.  There were about forty people at Joe's aunt's house for Easter dinner.

We got a nineteen-foot travel trailer to use while on furlough.  Joe got the van ready to pull the trailer on Monday.  On Tuesday, we got everything loaded into the trailer.

Joe and his dad built our display.  Joe worked on sanding it and varnishing it on Tuesday as well.

On Wednesday, we headed up to Oklahoma City.  We got here just in time for church.

On Thursday, we went to a yard sale.  Then, we visited with Sarah Litson and her parents for awhile.  Matt Litson is at a missions conference right now.  The Litsons will be heading back to Ivory Coast in a few weeks.

Joe has been working on pictures for our display and presentation.  He is going through all of the pictures that we have taken the past couple years.

On Friday morning, we went to the Social Security office to get Bonnie's number.  We had filed for it while in Ivory Coast, but the paperwork must have gotten lost.  When we were getting back in the car, Danny asked if we could go to Akle, a chicken restaurant in Ivory Coast.  We told him that there weren't any Akles here.  But, we did get some chicken from the Walmart deli for lunch.

This morning, Joe went visiting.  Then, we went to the zoo with Sarah Litson and her girls.  We ate lunch at McDonalds first and then went to the zoo.  We all had a good time.  It was funny hearing Gilbert and Danny trying to repeat the girls when they told them the names of each animal.

Until next time,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
