Bonjour,
Last night, the power went off at 10:30 and was off most of the night. We had the generator going all night. Bonnie woke up when the power went off and didn't go back to sleep until around midnight.
This morning, Joe took the kids to school. Then, he came back home and worked on the prayer letter. I worked on some long overdue sewing projects – mainly shortening and hemming Joe's pants.
Around noon, Joe took Charlie into town to get groceries. Charlie needs to bring his car papers up to date before he can drive his vehicle; they will work on that on Monday.
They picked the kids up from school. On their way home, Bonnie threw up in the car. Joe thought that she just got car sick because she was sitting in the back, and they got stuck in traffic. So, she went up to the Luthers' house with the boys to play with the Luther kids.
The boys played in the dirt with the Luther boys. They dug trenches and were having dirt clod wars. They had dirt from head to toe.
I made Cracker Barrel grilled chicken tenderloins for supper. They were pretty tasty!
After supper, Bonnie started throwing up again. She stood up from the table and puked in my lap; then, she puked all over the floor. Moments later, the power went off. Joe had everyone stay put while he got some candles lit. The power came back on for a little while and then went back off for four hours.
Bonnie threw up all evening. She did not have a fever. Maybe it is just a stomach bug. We will see how she is doing in the morning. She kept coming to sit in my lap and said, "You'll hold your sick baby girl, right Mom?" Poor baby!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
