Bonjour,

This morning, Joe went with Matt to Belleville to help put up a bamboo structure where the new Sunday school class can meet.  They got the spot cleared and the bamboo poles put in the ground.  They will work on it some more on Friday.

The boys “helped” me make pizza.  They both were standing on a little chair next to me.  They were wanting to sample the toppings.

Danny fell asleep in his highchair, and Gilbert fell asleep on the couch right after lunch.  So, I took a nap too.  Joe got home while we were napping.

We had a good church service this evening in Belleville.  On Saturday, a man approached Matt and Joe in front of the church just after they had finished visiting.  He said that some boys in the neighborhood had given him a tract and invited him to church.  He asked if it would be okay if he came on Sunday.  He came on Sunday and was back again tonight.

The water was on this morning.  So, I gave the boys a bath.  The water has been going off in the evenings.  It was a good thing that they got their baths in earlier because the water was off when we came home from church.

Please pray for David Messer, the nine-year-old son of Missionary Andy Messer.  They are missionaries in San Pedro, Ivory Coast.  David had a fever of 104.  The fever came down, but he was unresponsive.  They flew from San Pedro to Abidjan on Monday.  David is in the hospital there.  He did wake up this morning, but he is only responding to pain.  The doctors first thought it was cerebral malaria, but they are unsure what he has now.  He was supposed to see a neurologist and some other specialists today.  Please pray for David and his family.
