Bonjour,

We had a good day at church. Joe preached this morning. We had one
first-time visitor. Some teenagers who came last week for the first
time came back again today.

After church, we ate lunch. Just after we got home, the guard killed a
small black mamba in the yard.

The kids went to Bible club, and I got a nap in. Gilbert came flying in
the door during Bible club. He had to come to tell Joe that one of the
boys at Bible club had a Texas Longhorns shirt on. The boy who was
wearing the shirt had no idea what was on his shirt. Gilbert has
decided to go with OU; so, I guess he thinks that everyone else should too.

We were back at church for the 5:00 evening service. When we get there
early, Bonnie likes to sit on the steps with me and sing. She wants me
to think of songs; then, she tries to sing them. She has a different
title for all the songs. She calls songs by the parts of that song that
she remembers most. "Jesus Loves Me" is "He is Strong" to Bonnie. She
was singing, "Fished all night but they caught no fishes," but she sang
"Wished all night…"

When we are singing during church, Danny tries to sing too. If he
doesn't know the words to the song that we are singing, he just sings
the words to a different song. We were singing "At Calvary." Danny got
a loud "He Arose" in on that one.

Joe preached another good message tonight. Not many people come for the
evening services. Please pray that the people would get more involved
and begin attending the evening services.

After church, we took Becky and Kristine home. April rode with us too.
We stopped at Elma and got a rootbeer for everyone before we took them
home. That was a special treat!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
