Bonjour,
The kids had a good day at school. They always have some important thing to tell me when they get home. Gilbert wanted me to know that his lunch bag was completely empty, even his water bottle. Bonnie had dry panties – no accident at nap time; that's big news! Danny came in the door and went right to the table to get started on his homework; I don't know what got into him!
Joe did some work on the computer today. I got some laundry done in between the power outages. One phase of the three-phase system went off last night and was off until this morning. In the middle of the night, the wind was blowing the power lines together causing everything to go off and on repeatedly. We got up and unplugged the appliances. Then, this morning, the power went off a couple times. When we got home from church tonight, the same phase that went off last night was back off again. The kids' air conditioner is on that phase.
Joe was saying that the kids gave him their cold. Bonnie said, "No, I didn't give you mine; I still have it." Gilbert has started coughing now, and I seem to be getting a sore throat. Isn't it so nice to share??
We had a good night at church with thirteen in attendance. Joe decided to start teaching a Scripture song on Wednesday nights. We don't have the sheet music to the Scripture songs; so, I played the one for tonight by ear. The kids like it when I play my clarinet. During the evening services, we have a time for praises and testimonies. Tonight Danny was praising the Lord that Mommy was "singing" on her clarinet.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
