Bonjour,

Joe preached at the bank this morning.  He ran a couple errands and then came home.
Kristine offered to watch the kids today.  Joe and I went to check out a school.  One of the other missionaries here has a school (Preschool – 4th grade) that uses the A Beka DVDs.  We need to spend some time learning Fante.  We have decided to put all three kids in that school for the coming school year so that we can work on Fante.  They took us around to each classroom.  Everything seems to be very well structured.  We will take the kids on Monday to be tested to see if they are ready to go on to the next grade – 1st grade for Gilbert, K-5 for Danny, and Pre-K for Bonnie.  School will start on August 30th.  Their school is set up in trimesters; so, they will finish in July with three one-month breaks throughout the year.
After we finished at the school, we went out to lunch. We had pizzas at Captain Hooks.  Our next stop was the market circle.  The trash truck was emptying one of the big open dumpsters of trash and was blocking the road.  The traffic was not moving at all.  I got out and went to get vegetables.  By the time I had finished with that, the traffic had started moving, and Joe had found a parking place.  I went to another store that has some cheaper priced items.  Then, we went to Garden Mart to finish up our purchases.
When we got home, all of the kids were asleep for nap time.  Kristine's allergies were bothering her.  She turned in for the night.
After naps, Joe took the kids swimming while I worked on supper.  After supper, I did some alphabet and number flashcards with the boys.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
