Bonjour,
This morning, I did some work around the house. Joe went into town to finish up the bulk shopping.
The kids had a good day at school. There weren't any bad reports today. Danny's teacher told Joe that Danny is doing great. He had been struggling a little, but she said that he is like a different person now. We have been working with him at home a little and telling him that it is okay to make mistakes; his biggest fear is doing something wrong. Danny just about tackles the teacher every morning; he gives her a big hug when he sees her. Gilbert said that he was supposed to make sure that he knew his spelling words well; in other words, they have a test tomorrow. He got most of them right the first time; we only had to repeat a couple words. Bonnie said that she was a good girl.
Joe took the kids swimming when they got home. Danny caught an orange lizard in the pool; in the catching process, he killed it and then threw it out. Gilbert went to go see what it was.
I made a cake. We are having a party for Danny tomorrow after school. Then, I worked on supper.
After supper, the boys did their homework. Then, we played a game that Danny got for his birthday.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
