Bonjour,

This morning, Joe took the kids to school.  About 9:30, Joe and I went into town to run some errands.  I needed to get a few groceries, and he needed to pick up his phone that someone had been fixing.
They had tortilla chips at the store today.  So, we got to use some of our nacho cheese that I found in Accra.
The kids had a good day at school.  Bonnie said that she went to see the principal but it was just to talk to him.  She said that another little girl kept splashing her with water and that "Prisilla" was in trouble but not her.  Danny scraped his elbow and was sent to the office to get it doctored, but no one was in the office.  So, the teacher found something to put on it.  It was some type of liquid that turns purple after applied.  Danny was impressed with his purple elbow.
Joe left a little early this afternoon to get the propane bottles filled.  Joe said that on the way home from school, the kids were practicing their spelling words.  The kids in the back were spelling things like "cat," "cone," etc.  Bonnie looked at Joe and said, "Dad, do you want me to spell watermelon?"  She rattled off some letters but didn't have it quite right.  : )
We have started buying cheese in bulk.  I was cutting up the cheddar tonight so that I could grate it and freeze it.  The knife slipped, and I cut the palm of my hand.  Joe was up at the pool with the kids.  I called him, and he came down to doctor my hand.  The kids were all worried and wanted to see where I cut myself.  They told me that they were going to ask their classes to pray for me tomorrow at school.  The cut wasn't very deep; that hand will just be sore for a few days.
Joe was supposed to have a meeting at church tonight, but one of the men could not come.  So, the meeting for tonight was cancelled.  Joe is feeling a little better today but not back to normal yet.
Danny had a hard time getting his homework done tonight.  I don't think he took a nap at school today because he was so tired.  Gilbert had some more practice with before and after numbers; he has been struggling with that a little.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
