Bonjour,

This morning, I left Laura and the kids at home and I went to
Beingerville to pick up the church kids from camp. I got there at 10:00
and by noon I had delivered everyone home.

I got home and Laura was sick. She was vomiting and had a bad headache
and her lower back was hurting. She had just finished fixing lunch for
the boys. I put the boys down for a nap and Laura went to bed as well.
While they were all asleep, I called the doctor and made an appointment
for Laura for later in the afternoon.

We left the house at 15:00. Bob and Margie kept the boys for us.
Traffic was bad today. It is the first Friday of Ramadan (the muslim
month long fast). Then the president of Ivory Coast was flying in from
somewhere so they had the main roads blocked off and diverted traffic to
the side roads. We were sure glad to get to the doctor's office only 10
minuets late.

The doctor said that Laura probably has a kidney stone but she may have
an urinary tract infection. He gave her some medicine and we headed home.

I fixed supper and then the boys played outside with the guard. They
like playing with him and he likes making things for them out of grass
stems and little pieces of paper. Our guard is very talented with that
kind of stuff and it fascinates the boys.

Laura tried the to go to bed early, but Bonnie would not cooperate with
her. I tried to keep her quiet, but I could not giver her what she
wanted! We did all get to bed sooner than normal though.

Laura did get sick some in the night! Please pray that she would get
over this soon.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
