Bonjour,
Joe took care of everything again this morning. He wants me to take it easy even though I am starting to feel better; he doesn't want me to get worse again. So, I slept in while he made breakfast, fixed lunches, and took the kids to school. The kids came and gave me kisses before they left.
Gilbert started crying again today when Joe was leaving. So, he played basketball with them for a few minutes. They play outside until 7:30 when their teachers come to get them. Gilbert and Bonnie both cried when he left. Joe said that he had explained to them that the only reasons he would not be there to pick them up were if he were sick or if the car would not run but that he would make arrangements for them to get home. Gilbert took that to mean that Dad was going to get sick too and would not be there to pick them up after school. Poor boy!
I took it easy again today. I got some laundry done and made lunch and supper. Other than that, I did not do much.
Joe took Brother Davis to the bus station this afternoon. Then, he picked the kids up from school. On the way home, they picked up the Siekbert kids and brought them home to go swimming. After they swam, they took them back home. We had supper. After supper, the boys did their homework. Danny did not have as much to do tonight as he has been. He was excited about that, but he still was not thrilled about doing what he did have. Gilbert just gets it done and doesn't complain.
The kids were all tired and ready for bed tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
