W'apow mu e,

We had another shrew in the office this morning.  He went into hiding somewhere, and we haven't seen him again all day.

It rained off and on all day.  When the rain would let up, the kids were outside under the car port.  I heard Gilbert calling out, "About face, forward march; left face, forward march; right face…" in rapid succession.  A little while later he asked me if I heard them playing Army.  I said that I had heard them.  He said, "I had those soldiers (Danny and Bonnie) moving in all directions and fast!"

I labeled all of the school supplies this morning.  The kids are all excited about school starting tomorrow.  We asked Bonnie if she was going to stay out of the office this school year.  She said, "I don't know yet; we'll just have to wait and see."  Oh boy!

Joe went into town to pick up the school uniforms.  They were finally ready!  The boys had to try them on right away when Joe got home.

After naps, Bonnie helped me make supper, or "breakfast" as Bonnie usually calls it.  Danny and Bonnie both helped me make cookies for lunches.

Bonnie was talking to Nana on the phone this afternoon.  She covered a variety of topics.  She informed Nana that there are too many black people in Ghana; to remedy that, she is going to send one of them to America.

Everyone has their new lunch bags and their new uniforms ready to go.  Now, I just have to get ready to get up early again to get everyone in gear.

Nantsew yie!
