Bonjour,

This morning, Joe had someone come to try to help him locate the electrical problem.  Everything worked just fine while he was here.  The breaker did trip once tonight; so, Joe is still trying to figure it out.

The boys played outside for awhile.  When it got hot out there, they came inside.

I got some things done around the house.  Joe worked in the office most of the day.

A lizard got shut in the door last night.  It was stuck to the top of the door.  Joe knocked it down and kicked it outside.  A little while later, Gilbert came running in and said, “Mom, the lizard is alive!”  He had it in some type of container and was shaking the container around causing the lizard to appear alive.  I dumped it out and showed him that it was dead.  A few minutes later, he came in and said, “I need a knife.”  I told him that we don’t play with knives.  So, he got a spatula out of the drawer instead.  I told him that he couldn’t touch the dead lizard with my spatula.  Joe told him to find his shovel and bury the lizard.  First, he hosed the lizard down with his squirt gun.  Then, he needed help with the burial.  So, I helped him dig a little hole.  He put the lizard in and covered it up.  He came back in to tell me that the lizard was hiding now.

The boys and I went for a walk with Margie and Sarah.  Then, Gilbert went to play with the Litson girls for a little bit.  Joe went to get him when it was time for supper.  During supper, he told us that he was hiding from Allison, but she kept finding him.  We asked him where he hid.  He said, “By the tree.”  Then, he said that Allison wanted to show him another place.  So, he must have been hiding in the same place each time.
