W'apow mu e,

Joe took the kids to school this morning.  About an hour after he got home, someone from the school called and said that Danny was having trouble with his asthma.  Joe took medicine to Danny.  He gave him the medicine and stayed around a while to make sure that Danny was okay.

I worked on getting the laundry caught up today.  Joe had mostly everything washed; it just needed to be folded and put away.

Joe brought the kids home from school.  We had about an hour to eat supper and head back to the school for Bonnie’s school program.  Bonnie sang and recited verses with the whole group of preschool classes.  When it came time for her class to perform, Bonnie got scared and started crying.  Brother Morgan, the missionary who has the school, got up and had Bonnie sit on the front row by him.  She stopped crying after a minute.  We were sitting on the row right behind her and tried to talk her into going back up.  She clouded up again.  I got tears in my eyes too.  Danny looked at me, and he started crying.  Joe was laughing as he captured it all on video.  Bonnie clapped for her class, but she was content to watch it all from the front row.  Then, when they finished, she walked out with her class.

There was preaching, announcements, and awards after the presentations from the different classes.  We got home after bed time.

Bonnie is out of school now.  The boys have their program on Thursday.  Danny will graduate from kindergarten.  The next school year begins on September 4.

This evening, we were shocked to hear that John Atta Mills, President of Ghana, died suddenly.  The elections are scheduled for December.  Please pray for the country of Ghana during this time.
