Bonjour,

We got some things done around the house this morning.  Joe got the lawnmower put back together; the kids "helped" him.  I did some laundry.
While I was getting breakfast ready this morning, Danny said, "Miss Kristine, do you know "Back in the Saddle Again"?  He started singing it to her.  When he got to the "rocking to and fro" part, he sang, "I'm going to explode," and kept right on singing.  I got tickled.  He sang it again later, and he thinks that is how it goes.
About 10:30, Kristine and I walked to the taxi station.  We went to a store in the Anaji area today.  We did not feel like going all the way into Takoradi to market circle today.  It has an upstairs with a variety of items – bags, toys, furniture, wall hangings, etc.  We walked around up there for a little bit.  As soon as we stepped in the door, we both acquired a shadow.  The shadows stuck with us the whole time we were in the store.  My "shadow" was saying "Uh-huh" over and over.  Each time I picked something up to look at it, she told me what it was.  I guess she was trying to be helpful, but she was rather annoying instead.  Kristine found a couple things up there.  Then, we went downstairs to the restaurant; we both had Lebanese cheese pizza.  When we finished lunch, we ordered two rotisserie chickens to take home.  They got the chickens ready while we did our grocery shopping next door.  After we got groceries, we picked up our chickens, caught a taxi, and headed home.
The kids were down for naps when we got home.  I got the groceries put away and took a nap myself.  After naps, Joe took the kids swimming.  I made some things to go with the chicken. After supper, we had rootbeer floats and some little muffins that Kristine made.
This evening, the kids have been busy playing.  Bonnie has been inside of a big box with her dishes.  The boys have a "race track" in their bedroom with all of their cars in a loop around a block tower with animals around the tower; it's the zoo, you know.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
