Bonjour,
Today, we did some things around the house. We continued the pickle process today. The big pot that had to sit overnight, then chill for three hours, and soak for six more hours only made five quart jars. That's a lot of work for five jars of pickles!! Joe had to go to the store for more vinegar. When he got back, he tried canning some dry beans. Those look like they turned out good.
The kids played inside most of the morning. It was an overcast day; it sprinkled a couple times.
After naps, I made pizza for supper. Then, we got ready for church.
We had a good night at church. There were twenty-one in attendance tonight. That is the highest Wednesday night attendance that we have had in a long time. Everyone seemed to have a good spirit, and they were just glad to be in church.
When we got home, Joe put the pickles on to boil. They are now in their boiling water bath; then, we will be done with the pickles!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
