Bonjour,

Today, we took it easy at home.  We have been very busy the past few days, and we needed to slow down a little bit today.  We normally go into Abidjan on Thursdays, but we decided to postpone our trip to town until next week.

Joe did go into Anyama to pick up a package from the post office.  It had Gilbert’s name on it.  The postal worker wanted Gilbert to come and sign for it.  Joe had taken Gilbert’s passport and explained that Gilbert is only three years old.  Joe said that he could bring Gilbert in with his crayon and let him scribble on the page if they would like.  They decided to let Joe have the package.

Then, Joe took Max to pick up a filing cabinet that he had purchased.  Lenell went over to the Litsons’ house for lunch.  So, the boys and I ate lunch and went down for naps.

Gilbert hasn’t been feeling very well today.  He has complained about his head and arms hurting.  This evening, he started running a fever.  If he isn’t better in the morning, we will take him to the doctor.

Nathan Post got to go home from the hospital today.  Please continue to pray for his recovery.  He will go back to the doctor on Monday to have the bandage changed.  Then, they will take the stitches out on Thursday.  He will go back sometime the next week to have a cast put back on.

We didn’t hear any word on the container today.  Joe thinks it probably won’t be delivered until at least Tuesday.  The customs’ agents consider Friday and Monday as part of the weekend; so, he thinks it would be difficult to get them to come out until Tuesday.
