Bonjour,
This morning, Joe took our dryer into Abidjan to a repair man. We were supposed to take it last week; but with all the sickness, it didn't happen. He also got a few more items that I needed for Thanksgiving. We are going to have Thanksgiving with the Posts. All of the missionaries wanted to get together, but we decided that we will have to try to get together for a Christmas party after the elections have taken place and everything has settled down.
The boys did school this morning. We are a little behind since we took time off in October. I let them do some of their Thanksgiving crafts today since we haven't gotten that far in their art books yet. They made Pilgrim and Indian hats. They were very excited about their hats. Danny said, "Mom, could you put mine high on a shelf so that Bonnie won't eat them?" I put them on the shelf. I don't think she would eat them, but she would love to get her hands on them. Bonnie got a Pilgrim hat too.
Joe got back just after we had eaten lunch. He said that everything seemed calm on this side of Abidjan this morning.
I worked on folding laundry this evening. Danny likes to help fold. Each piece that he picks up, he asks, "How do you fold this one, Mom?" But, he is learning.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
