Bonjour,

Joe discovered that today is Republic Day in Ghana.  Their independence day is in March (March 6, 1957), but they did not become a functioning republic until July 1, 1960.  They get two holidays out of it that way.  He went into town and got the chemicals for the pool.  He also went to the vegetable market.
The kids played most of the morning.  They went outside for a while and then came back inside.  I worked on laundry again.
The cat killed a big lizard this morning.  At first, we thought it was a snake because we could only see the tail.  Straw is quite the hunter.
After naps, I worked on supper.  Joe went to Inchaban for the Bible study tonight.  One man from Inchaban came.  Kristine spent the evening upstairs with us.  We watched some girly things since Joe wasn't here.  The boys were not impressed.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
