Bonjour,

Our holding tank did not fill up at all in the night.  Joe went down to make sure that the pump at the well house was working.  He discovered that the well is almost dry.  So, he had a water truck come with a load of water to fill our holding tanks.  They put the little bit of water that was left after filling the tanks into the pool.  It is still not full, but the kids are having fun playing in the water.
Joe went into town to pick up his driver's license, go to the post office, and get a few groceries.  We got a package from Grandma and Grandpa today; the kids were excited about that.
Two ladies from the church were supposed to come to do some baking today.  But, they didn't come.  I found plenty of things to keep me busy.
Just after we finished supper, the power went off.  It was off for four hours and just came back on.  It is a blessing to have the generator up and running again.  The kids always enjoy breaking out the glow sticks as soon as the lights go off.  Gilbert was hoping that it would stay off a while so he could use his glow stick.  He got a glow-in-the-dark puzzle in the package today.  He came running in to tell me that it worked!
I was going to cut the boys' hair tonight, but we can't use the clippers with the generator.  So, I trimmed Bonnie's hair; the boys will have to wait until another day.
Danny played hard today.  Danny had gone in the bedroom to search for a little storage box for his loose tooth; it will be his first tooth to lose.  He fell asleep at the foot of Gilbert's bed in his searching process.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
