W'apow mu e,
Joe was busy sorting and packing today. The power was off there from 6:00 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. He has a few people who are supposed to come in the morning to buy things. If they don't come by 10:00 A.M., he is leaving to head this way. Pray for traveling safety and for no trouble at the borders (or anywhere else along the way).
Danny has a stomach bug of some kind. He stayed home today. Martin was kind enough to go get some medicine for Danny and bring it to us. Once Danny started taking the medicine, he did not have any more stomach problems. But, he was still complaining that his stomach and head hurt. He is hoping for another day out of school. We will see how he is doing in the morning.
Bonnie was upset that Danny wasn't going to school with them. Gilbert's only concern was that we not do anything fun.
Danny was playing with boats and army men this morning. He decided that he needed more boats. He started gathering up boxes that he had stashed away. We made several cardboard boats today. He wanted to make sure that he had some for Gilbert and Bonnie too.

Danny and I took a nap and then made oatmeal cookies.
Gilbert and Bonnie had a good day at school. Bonnie was telling me her Bible story from school. She started with "Once upon a time…" Gilbert stopped her and told her that she should say, "One day…" because it was a true story and not a fake one. Bonnie had to start over after Gilbert's interruption. I bet you can't guess how she started it! You guessed it — "Once upon a time."
Bonnie has a doll with a wig. She is convinced that it is called a "twig."
Our guard has not been coming for the past few days. So, we did not venture out to church tonight in a taxi. We sang some songs and read a story from the Bible.
Nantsew yie!
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
