Bonjour,
The strikes ended. The fuel prices were lowered 100 francs. They had
raised the price by 240 francs last week. Joe thought that they had
probably raised it extra high on purpose so that they could come back
with a slight decrease and make everyone happy, even though it is still
140 francs higher than it was. The government knew that people would go
on strike regardless of how much they raised the price. The government
workers also got a raise. So, everyone is happy again for the moment.
We were going to start going back to Bonoua tomorrow, but we are going
to wait one more week on that. Our vehicle is still at the paint shop.
The painter wasn't able to work on it last week because he couldn't get
to work due to the strikes.
I made a picnic lunch, and we went up to Lenell's apartment. When she
sent all of her helpers to get lunch, we ate lunch. It was nice to get
out of the house for a little while. Lenell enjoyed the lunch and the
fellowship. Her apartment is coming along. There are still a few
things that need to be done before she can move in. She wants to move
her stuff in at the end of the week and start arranging stuff while she
waits for the last few things to get finished.

Bonnie was up most of the night last night. She slept all morning.
When we were ready for nap time, she was wide awake. Joe stayed up with
her so that I could get some rest.
Lenell came and got the boys for awhile after naps. She brought them
home when Gilbert told her that it was supper time. He was hungry!
Danny had worked up an appetite too.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
