Bonjour,

We spent the day at home today.  Joe worked on the boys’ air conditioner today.  It hasn’t been cooling very well; so, he and another guy took it outside and cleaned it.  The boys had great fun playing outside and “helping” Daddy.  I got some letters written while they were all outside.

We found out this evening that Opa, my dad’s dad, died today.  He had a heart attack.  We are glad that Opa isn’t hurting anymore and that we will see him again some day in Heaven.  Please pray for Oma and the entire Van Manen family.  I am very thankful that the boys and I got to see him when we were in the States for the holidays.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
