Bonjour,
Today is Joe’s birthday. He is 31.
Joe left the house early this morning to go get in line for the vehicle inspection. The car failed once again. He and the mechanic went to look for another fuel pump.
We had planned to go into Abidjan today. Joe came and got me, and we went for lunch. Sarah kept the boys. The vehicle wasn’t running very well, and Joe waned to get it back to the mechanic. So, we just ate and then headed home.
It started raining just before we got home. So, I waited until the rain let up before I walked across the street to get the boys. When I went over, Danny was still asleep. So, I waited until he woke up. Then, we headed home.
I made a cake. Gilbert fell asleep on the couch. Danny was “helping” me in the kitchen He likes to open the cupboards and explore. Gilbert used to do the same thing when he was that age.
They put the new fuel pump on. The vehicle is now running better than it ever has. It will have to go back for inspection on Monday.
Joe got home just in time for supper. Then, we sang and had birthday cake.

Tonight, we had two “games” going on in the living room. Gilbert was playing baseball, and Danny was playing football. Then, Danny picked up Gilbert’s ball instead of his own; so, they switched.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
