Bonjour,

Joe went to the post office this morning to get our packages. It took
over an hour to get the packages. Then, he stopped by the Anyama
church. He met a plumber there and brought him out to the house to work
on getting our pump hooked up. The plumber had to go get some parts; he
didn't come back until this afternoon. He was supposed to get Lenell's
pump installed today too, but he said he will do it tomorrow. He did
get ours hooked up. I have been busy trying to get caught up on laundry.

Two of the packages were for Danny's birthday. Gilbert wanted to help
Danny open them. Gilbert was just as excited as Danny was. Danny got
some candy, a book, a stuffed animal, and a bar of soap in the shape of
a bear. Danny was trying to eat the soap.

The other two packages had Christmas presents in them. I had just used
our last packet of koolaid today, and one of the packages had koolaid in
it. Hooray! There were a few things that I went ahead and pulled out.
I put the Christmas things back in the box and hid the box. Gilbert
kept trying to come into the office to see what was in those Christmas
boxes.

Gilbert is ready to put up the Christmas tree. Joe had an evangelistic
campaign in Anyama tonight and again tomorrow night. So, we probably
won't get the tree put up until Monday.

Joe left the house a little after 5:00 and got back about 8:00. The guy
who was in charge hadn't thought things through very well. The place
where he had set up didn't have electricity close enough; so, they
couldn't use the projector or the sound system. Joe had an extension
cord, but it wasn't that long! They have come up with a plan for
tomorrow night and will try it again.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
