Bonjour,
I will catch you up on yesterday since I didn't give many details in
last night's e-mail. We got our vehicle back from the painter. We will
put the paint job on hold until the other vehicle is back up and
running. Joe went to Anyama to run a couple errands. He had to stop at
the mechanic so that they could make a few adjustments on the clutch.
I worked on a few last minute things before Nana's arrival. The boys
went to see Lenell while I got lunch ready. Then, the boys and I took a
nap.
Joe and Bob left for the airport around 4:00. They had to stop at the
store on their way.
The flight arrived on time. It took awhile to get through the passport
check point. Joe called Raymond, the guy that usually takes him to the
back; he was already in the back. Joe was upstairs where he could see
the people that were coming in. He told Raymond who is mom was and had
him hand her his phone. Joe's mom was a little shocked that an African
was handing her his phone. Joe talked to her for a minute and told her
that he would help them get their bags through. Both ladies got all of
their luggage and came through without any problems.
Lenell came over a little after 16:00 to help me with supper
preparation. We kept the boys entertained while we waited for the
travelers to arrive. They got here about 20:30; the traffic was bad on
the way home, and it was raining. We ate supper. Then, we started
going through bags. The boys had a great time. It was almost midnight
before we went to bed.

This morning, Joe went visiting. He had to video for a wedding at 1:00;
so, they went visiting a little earlier today. They didn't find anyone
at home.
Awhile back, Joe dropped the platform on his toe. The toenail fell off,
and a new one started growing. It is ingrown and infected. He will
have to go to the doctor on Monday.
Nana rested this morning. She is getting adjusted to the time change.
Gilbert and Danny kept checking on her to see if she was still asleep.
They had things that they wanted to do. I sorted all of the clothes
that Nana brought and got those put away.
Joe came home for lunch and headed up to the Anyama church. The wedding
went well. One of the deaf girls in the church got married. Everyone
found out today that her grandpa is the president of the chiefs of the
Ivory Coast. He is often on the news. He got up and spoke for a few
minutes. He said that he was impressed with the way that the church had
treated his deaf granddaughter over the years.
Nana, the boys, and I all took naps this afternoon. It rained off and
on this afternoon. Gilbert hadn't been swimming since Tuesday. He was
bound and determined to use his new pool toys that Nana brought. Joe
got back around 5:00. They went swimming for a few minutes until it
started raining again.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
