Bonjour,
It has been another busy day in the Consford household. The kids had a half day of school today. Joe took the kids to school. Then, he came back home and got me. We went into town to get groceries before we went to get the kids from school. Joe walked to the market circle to find some things for the games that we are playing at our Easter activity on Sunday afternoon. A lot of places were closed today for Good Friday.
The kids got their report cards today for their second trimester. Gilbert's grades had greatly improved. Both Gilbert and Danny had all A's and B's. Bonnie was last in her class in three out of six subjects; she is only three. I am sure she will catch on quickly next year. Her teacher put that "she is not serious with her class work; there is room for improvement." Bonnie is of the opinion that it's her way or no way at all; that is the main reason she has made the most trips to the principal's office. That girl!! They will be out of school for almost a month now; they go back on May 2 to finish up the year.
When we got home, it was lunch time. The kids had taken their lunch to school and said that they weren't hungry. Just after I finished making sandwiches, they all decided that they were a little hungry. After lunch, I got rolls rising for supper and then rested for a little while.
We had Brother Davis, Brother Chamberland, and Brother Wallace over for supper tonight. I made meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls, and cinnamon rolls. We had a good time of fellowship with them. They leave tomorrow morning for Liberia.
Mrs. Chamberland sent some things for me and the kids. So, we made some thank-you notes to send back to her. (She came with her husband back in November, and the kids really liked her. They wanted to know if that nice lady was coming this time.)
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
