Bonjour,

Joe went up to the church for visitation, but no one came.  Joe's parents gave us money to buy a mattress.  So, he went to get that.  The mattress that we have been using belongs to the Luthers.  When he came home, we did some rearranging.  He loaded up the mattresses that belong to the Luthers and took them up to their house.  They will arrive here on Tuesday.  We had some ladies do some deep cleaning up there, and we are working on getting everything ready for them.
I had twenty for Bible Club today.  More of the children are participating now in learning the verses and songs.
This afternoon, a friend in Texas called.  She was asking what we had done today.  I was telling her about the new mattress.  It is a king-sized mattress, and all of our sheets are queen-sized.  I told her that we put a flat sheet sideways, and it covered the bed.  She said, "Do you know what I have in my hand?"  I said, "What?"  She said, "The set of king-sized sheets that you gave me when we were packing your stuff up for Africa."  She said that she had not opened them and that she will send those to me.  It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord blesses us and takes care of even little things like sheets.
Bonnie learned a new verse to "Oh Be Careful" at school on Friday.  She sang, "Oh be careful little 'hat' who you trust."  I told her that I thought they were trying to say "heart."  But, she was not convinced.
We watched the second Flipper movie after supper, dishes, and baths.  The boys helped me do the dishes tonight.  Bonnie was still sitting at the table finishing her supper while we were doing dishes.
At bed time, Gilbert said, "I wish I could put my mattress on the floor like yours because that is more fun."  We told him that we have to have a bed frame made.  He still thought it looked like more fun.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
