Bonjour,

This morning, some of the children from Belleville came to work in our yard to earn some money for camp.  Julien and Romeo were supervising.

Joe took Lenell and I into Abidjan to get our hair done for our birthdays.  Margie kept Gilbert and Danny.  I got my hair colored and cut.  Lenell got highlights and a trim.  Lenell paid for both of us to have a pedicure as well.  We had a good time.

Alima did my hair first so that I could take care of Bonnie.  After she finished with me, Joe, Bonnie, and I went to the US Embassy to apply for Bonnie’s passport.  Both parents had to be there to sign the form, but they don’t make you swear that it is your child anymore.

We picked up some sub sandwiches for lunch and took them back to Alima’s.  She was tickled that we brought food for her too.

Alima did two different colors on Lenell’s hair.  Another lady came that needed a haircut.  While Lenell’s hair was drying, that lady got a haircut.  It was almost 18:00 by the time we left.

Alima is not saved.  Becky Mach has been witnessing to her for some time.  Please pray for her that she would see the need for salvation.

We stopped to pick up some supper on the way home.  We brought some for Bob and Margie as well since they kept the boys all day.

Gilbert told me that my hair looked very pretty.  Then, for some reason, he wanted to smell it.  He told me that it smelled not so very good.  Danny was happy to see us.  He was ready for supper.

Bonnie was a good girl today.  She enjoyed our outing.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
