Bonjour,

Joe’s tooth started bothering him again during the night.  Then, it started feeling better this morning.  He decided not to go to the dentist today.  Then, this evening, it started hurting again.  He was told of a different dental clinic that is supposed to be better than the one he went to a couple weeks ago.  If they are not open tomorrow, he will go there on Monday.  Pray that he won’t be in a lot of pain while he waits to get this taken care of.

Gilbert hobbled out of his room this morning to see if he had to go to school.  He did.  He wore open-toed shoes so that his shoe would not press down on his sore toe.  Joe told the principal why Gilbert was wearing sandals instead of socks and shoes.  Gilbert said that people kept telling him all day that they were sorry for him.  He must have been moving kind of slow.  He has been walking better this evening, but he is reminded that he has a sore toe if it is bumped at all.

Joe and I went to town this morning to get a few groceries.  We were back home before lunch time.

We had a nice rain this afternoon.  We were almost to the point of having to order a water truck.  Praise the Lord for the rain!

It was still rainy when the kids got home from school.  When the rain stopped, they went outside to play.  Danny came in covered in mud.

Tonight, the kids said that they needed some paper.  Bonnie said, “We are making something for Mother’s Day.  You can’t see it, Mom.”  Then, a few minutes later, they all brought me their surprises.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
