Bonjour!
Once again this is Joe typing, so be on the lookout for those spelling
errors, typos, and punctuation pit-falls! Pray for Laura, I think she
got too hot today and we had a long ride back from Cape Coast. She went
strait to bed at 16:30 and has not got up since.
We left the house at 06:30 to go to Cape Coast, Ghana and preach for
Brother Johnny Widener at the Spring Valley Baptist Mission. It was the
last day of their first Missions Conference. There was a good turn out
and we had a lot of fun. I preached twice and there was a good response
to both messages this morning. I pray that this church will be able to
do great things for the Lord this year to reach people around the World
with the Gospel.
We ate lunch with the Widener family and then had a great time of
fellowship with them. The boys like to play video games with Jonathan
and Bonnie just loves to boss those girls around! It was a lot of fun
for the whole family. the Wideners are getting ready to go home on
furlough and their two oldest daughters will be staying to go to college.

We left the Wideners at about 15:30 and got home at about 16:30 just in
time to drop Laura off at home. She was all done in!
The kids and I went on to church at Mt. Calvary. We had a good service
this evening. Brother Evans preached a good sermon on the life of
Joseph. (My favorite Bible story!) The kids were very good in church
this evening! I sure was proud of them. Danny was trying to tell me
the next part of the story before Brother Evans got to it. "Right Dad!"
We came home and had a healthy supper of Pop Corn! The kids were
excited because I let them eat it in the living room! Danny said, "It's
fun to eat Pop Corn Supper on the couch! Right Dad?"
A demain,
Joe, Lo, Gil, DJ, and Boo
