Bonjour,
We spent the day at home. We sorted through some more barrels. I am in search of my rugs, but I haven't found them yet.
Jennifer and I practiced a Christmas song to sing at church tomorrow, if we get to go. She got her keyboard out, and I played our parts. My piano playing is a bit rusty.
Things remain quiet and calm. We thought we might all actually get to go to church tomorrow! Danny was running a temperature tonight though; we'll see how he is in the morning.
Bonnie was "helping" me with dishes today. She was talking to her imaginary friend. Her friend's name changes frequently, but today it was Wheatie. She kept telling me everything that Wheatie was doing. We have been working with Bonnie on potty training; she is doing pretty well. She was working on potty training Wheatie today, "Oh Mom, Wheatie pooped in her pants. That's a bad girl, Wheatie. Oh, now she is going on the pot. That's a big girl, Wheatie." She is a mess.
While I was fixing supper tonight, I could hear the kids outside singing. They were playing with the Post boys on the swing set and singing away. First, it was "Jesus Loves the Little Children" followed by "The Wheels on the Bus." They sang some verses to that which I haven't heard before such as, "The cats on the bus say 'Meow, Meow, Meow.'" But, they were having fun.
Just this evening, Danny was very quiet and sitting still. That is unusual for Danny! We knew that something must be wrong. I felt his head, and I could tell that he had a fever. I took his temperature. We gave him some Tylenol and put him to bed. He was about to fall asleep on the couch. Dan Post was also running a temperature today; so, it must be a virus or something.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
