Bonjour,
After Joe took the kids to school, we were busy unpacking and getting things put away. We aren't done yet, but we are making progress.
Joe took me into town for lunch. Then, we did a little bit of shopping. I got some more material for curtains. I'm not too keen on the fish bowl effect; I just have about ten windows left that need curtains. That is pretty good for thirty-four windows.
We picked the kids up from school. I talked to Gilbert's teacher to see how he is doing. They start their second trimester exams next week. He said that Gilbert is doing very well; he just needs to keep working on reading faster.
We had a couple packages at the post office today. One of them was for Gilbert's birthday. All of the kids were excited to see what we got. Gilbert is all decked out as a cowboy now; he got a cowboy hat, vest, gun holster belt with two cap guns, spurs, and a lasso. I got some wall decorations and curtains. Bonnie and Danny both got some treasures too.
I started taking the wall paper border down in the living room tonight so that I can put the new one up tomorrow. I was going to hang curtains, but I thought I should do the border above the curtains first. That wall paper border has been up there for ten years or more; I thought it would be hard to get it down. But, it is coming off pretty easily.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
