Bonjour,

This morning, we did school. Joe worked on planting more pineapples
from the shoots off of the existing plants. The boys went out to help
him on their break. Danny was being silly today. He was purposefully
giving the wrong answer each time. Then, he would laugh and say, "I'm
just teasing," as he circled the correct answer. They came back in and
finished school and went right back out to help Daddy.

Bonnie was out there with him all morning. Joe said that she almost
talked his ear off. She kept telling him that she needed to go to
Kumasi to talk to some girls there. (Kumasi is where the Aarons live;
it is about five hours away from us.) She told him that her seat belt
broke and that she needed to go get some glue tape from Walmart. Joe
asked her what she would do if the police stopped her for not wearing
her seat belt. She said that she would just "splain" to them that she
needed to glue tape it and that she was on her way to Walmart to get the
glue tape and that they better understand.

After naps, the boys went right back out to help Joe again. They went
to play with the Luther kids for a while but came back to help again. I
did a couple loads of laundry.

I tried a new recipe for supper called Chuckwagon Stack. Bonnie took a
bite and said, "This is Elephant pie, Mom." Joe said he was glad that
it wasn't a cowpie. That made Gilbert turn a little green. He said, "I
know what cowpies are; this is not a cowpie!"

One power phase went out tonight. It is the phase for the kitchen.
Hopefully it will come back on before bed time so that the food in the
refrigerator and freezer does not spoil.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
