W'apow mu e,
Well, after a day like yesterday, it is very difficult to think of what to write today. I mean, almost nothing of excitement happened! I think I LIKE IT! I mean, not every day of course, but it is nice, every once in a while to have a day like today.
A missionary did call me late last night and ask me to help him get a visa extension. I have been able to make friends with the Regional Commander of the Emigration Service here in Takoradi, and so I went to his office to enplane the plight of this other missionary. The Commander told me what forms to have the guy fill out and to come back tomorrow to see him.
I took the forms to the missionary to have him fill them out and then I went to pick the kids up from school. When I got to school, Danny came busting out of his class with the most excited look I have ever seen on a boy's face. His teacher had gone to the circus that is in town and had brought photos of the tigers and snakes and all. Well, Danny was telling me about the circus at full volume. I made some phone calls and got some free tickets to go see the circus tomorrow night. Martin is going to go with us to help me keep Danny out of the tiger pit!
Bonnie heard Danny talking about the circus and she came to me in the kitchen and told me that she was not so sure about going because the tigers might scare her. I told her that there would be a tiger tamer there with a whip. She said, "He will whip the tigers if they are mean to me?" I said that is what his job is. She said, "Well, if they won't listen to him, I'll call Danny!" Bonnie knows that Danny will protect her at all cost.

Gilbert is very excited about going too. He does not like loud noises and I am sure that most of the evening will be spent with his hands over his ears.
I am very curious as the what a circus in Africa is going to be like! They tell me it is an Italian circus company. We shall see!
I figure that tomorrow is a big day and so we were in bed right on time tonight.
Nantsew yie!
