Bonjour,

We had church at home with the Posts today.  The guard told us that there had been some shooting and some things torn up in Bassam yesterday.  Our neighborhood has remained quiet.  Thank you for your continued prayers for our safety.
Mbeke, the president of South Africa, came today to talk to both "presidents."  We haven't heard the outcome of that yet.
After naps, we went over to the Posts' house.  Jennifer made chocolate shakes, and we brought french fries to snack on.  We played a few games.  The kids had fun playing with the Post boys.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
