Bonjour,

This morning, we got an early start on school. While we were doing
school, Joe was outside planting pineapples with Francis. They were
cutting shoots off of existing plants and planting the shoots.

After school, we went to a hotel in town and went swimming. We had the
pool all to ourselves. We had a lot of fun. Bonnie had a flotation
suit and was in a ring, but she still wanted me to hold her hand. If I
let go, she would say, "I need a holder." I offered her my toe. She
said, "Toes aren't strong enough. I need your hand." Danny is Mr. No
Fear. He was jumping in showing Gilbert how to do the cannonball.
Gilbert wouldn't jump like that because he didn't want his head to go
under. We ate lunch there and then headed home. No one was supposed to
go to sleep on the way home, but Bonnie and Danny didn't make it. Danny
didn't take a nap after we got home and fell asleep on the couch before
supper.

After naps, the boys were up playing with the Luthers. Bonnie wanted to
go up. I walked up there with her and visited with Julie and April for
a few minutes. When we walked back home, Bonnie wanted me to help her
find Daddy. We found him out in the yard. She wanted us to play London
Bridges with her. She showed us how we were supposed to hold our
hands. Then, she backed up quite a bit and ran toward us. When we
said, "Take the keys and lock her up," she said, "That's not the right
way. It's actually, 'Take the keys and pick her up." She is a mess.

Both boys fell asleep watching a movie. We carried them to their beds,
and Bonnie followed behind them. Usually, they want to hear a bed time
story. Bonnie didn't ask about one tonight; she was tired too.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
