Bonjour,

The power went off just before midnight last night.  Bonnie woke up and could not find her bedroom door.  I heard her crying and went to find her.  She was in the corner of her room feeling the walls.  I stayed in her room with her for a little while.  I thought she was back asleep and headed back to my room.  Just as I got to the bed, she started crying again.  Joe woke up and thought it was about 5:00 AM instead of midnight.  He went out and started the generator.  Just as we were turning out the lights once again, the power came back on.  So, Joe went back out to turn the generator off.
This morning, the boys wanted to catch a bird.  They talked about it during breakfast.  As soon as breakfast was over, they went outside.  Through the window we could see Danny with a lasso and Gilbert hiding behind a tree with a handkerchief in his hand ready to catch the bird that Danny lassoed.  I tried to take a picture through the screen but could not get a good picture.  So, Joe went outside to take pictures.  Gilbert had moved from his crouched position.  Danny had lassoed a tree branch and was trying to climb up the rope.  Gilbert was giving him a boost.
Joe went into town this morning to renew our internet for another month.  We were down for a few hours but are back up and running.
We got a little bit of rain this morning.  As soon as the rain stopped, the sun came right back out.
After naps, Bonnie and I made cookies while the boys played outside.
Just as we were finishing supper, the power went off.  We could see lights in the surrounding areas for a while, but now everything is dark.  We could be on the generator all night.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
