Bonjour,

Joe went to Abidjan this morning.  He traded money.  Then, he began his long wait for a telephone call to go pick up our pallets.  He called them about 10:30.  They said that they had to go pick up the report from customs and pay them; then, they had to go pay for the freight; after that, he could come to the office, pay, and go pick up the pallets.  He called again at 1:30.  They said that customs had not finished their report, and that it might be ready at 3:00.  He called them again at 3:00, and they still had no report from customs.  So, he headed home.  He said that he will give them Monday to get all of the paperwork taken care of.  Then, on Tuesday morning, he will go pay and get the stuff; that way, he won't have to sit around in Abidjan all day again.
We did school this morning.  It went better today than it did yesterday.
Right before lunch, the power went off.  It was off until about 15:00.  Dan started our generator for us.  The kids lay down but didn't go to sleep.
When Joe got home, the boys were very disappointed that the trailer was empty.  Danny cried and cried.  Bonnie told him, "It's okay, Danny.  We're going to get my baby dolls."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
