Bonjour,

This morning, the boys were up bright and early.  They both took a nap on the way to the Posts’ house.

We headed to the Posts’ house around 10:30.  Today is a holiday; so, there wasn’t much traffic until we got out by the ocean.

Lenell and I helped Jennifer get things ready.  Then, we sat and talked until everyone arrived.  We had barbecued hamburgers and hotdogs with all of the trimmings.

We celebrated Sarah’s birthday.  Jennifer had made a beautiful cake.  She could go into business.  : )

After that, the ladies went to the souvenir market that is not far from the Posts’ house.  The men stayed to hold down the fort.  The older kids were playing Monopoly with Nathan.  The younger kids were playing outside.  The man sat in the dining room and fellowshipped.

Sarah needed to get a few things to take back to the States.  Margie Engelhart will also be leaving the same day as the Litsons.  She will be in the States for a month.  Her parents are in poor health.  So, she bought a couple things too.  We had fun looking around.  It was hot.  We were all ready for a big glass of water when we got back to the Posts’ house.

Tammy had invited all of the girls to her house for a slumber party tonight.  So, Lenell and the Litson girls went to Tammy’s house.  Gilbert wanted to know where Aunt Nell was.  I told him that she will be back tomorrow.

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

Both boys fell asleep on the way home.  They are usually too busy playing to take a nap when we are at the Posts’ house.  When we got home, the boys took a much needed bath.  Then, we ate supper.  Everyone should be ready for bed early this evening.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
